Phone number restricted to 8 digits only #5839

The UG states that the phone number must be '8 digits long'. However, this 'is not reasonable unless you are targeting users whose telephone numbers are not longer than 8 digits', as mentioned in the module website.

From reading the UG, it does not state anywhere that this application is only for students and tutors residing in Singapore, which raises the question of how to input a number of a student/tutor who is residing elsewhere (as the number may be longer, or smaller, than 8 digits).

This situation could be avoided by either (i) allowing numbers more than 8 digits or (ii) explicitly saying that this product is for those residing in Singapore.

Decided to give severity.Low as the bug 'affects usage' but is 'unlikely to affect normal operations'.
