Team's Response

Use cases "describes an interaction between the user and the system for a specific functionality of the system." (from the Textbook). Which means that Use Cases are one of the many ways to describe functional requirements of our app.

For StudyTracker, we chose to describe functional requirements using a combination of the following tools:

Thus, what you describe as "missing use case" are actually functional requirements which have been documented in other locations of the product documentation.
