There is a romanization version of the name for every student from different backgrounds/countries in NUS. For example, the name of the matriculation card of Chinese students are in the hanyu pinyin form, in English. 你好 can just be converted to Ni Hao and it will still mean the same.

The UG only specify that it is for university students, thus it can be for people of different backgrounds as well. What if the person does not have an English name?
