I feel like this is more of a feature flaw or a not-in-scope bug. In our feature design, the ruler is put on a lower layer of the court, so the player icon will possibly block it. Since the player icon is visible as a circle, when moving it to a coordinate, it will always take some more space around that position (because it is not and cannot be a dot!). Just like the image shown: the user moves it to the location (30, 500), the circle would unavoidably block some ruler.

So I feel like this is a problem in the UI design of the strategy board.
