Hi!

Thank you for your bug report. However, we don't really think this is a bug because restricting date inputs may instead lead to overzealous validation of dates, which is a even bigger issue.

Furthermore, suppose we impose a constraint on the valid date range, it's not very clear where to draw the line on invalid date formats.

In addition, as you mentioned, these cases are unlikely to occur, other than in cases of deliberate sabotage. Even in cases where users might accidentally enter a year like '3011' as you did, it would appear quite obviously 'weird' as you mentioned, and the user can simply edit the date to fix this issue without anything breaking in ArtBuddy.

As such, we'll be rejecting this suggestion- hope you'll understand. Thanks!
