Expected: Date Applied should be Jan 01 0000

Actual: Date Applied is Jan 01 0001

This should not be a problem as 0000 is an extreme input and there would not be any CS students today who have made internship applications in that year.

Besides, "a year zero does not exist in the Anno Domini (AD) calendar year system commonly used to number years in the Gregorian calendar" (Wikipedia).
