`java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException` thrown for autocomplete #5742

Steps to reproduce

  1. Enter list_command. Note the extra spacing behind.
  2. Press Tab on the keyboard to autocomplete, the error will show in the terminal.

Thank you for catching this bug. However, since this bug does not affect the user and only the red highlighting is missing, we decided to choose very low severity as it falls into the comestic issue category.
