Adding multiple `r\` tags to remark command causes first remark to be thrown away

Although it is unlikely, it is possible that I want to add a remark like r\ABCD. That is "[space] r [slash] ABCD". To do so, I would enter remark_p r\ r\ABCD. However, when I view the patient, I get a remark like "ABCD".
