Application crashed for invalid edited data field #3998

Below is the requirement of support level for manual editing. But when I edit one of the json value as null, the application crashed. This is caused by the Null Pointer Exception not handled in Storage class. Consider this bugs appear in very rare scenarios but still cause major problem, I will label this as severity medium.
