Note from the teaching team: This bug was reported during the Part II (Evaluating Documents) stage of the PE. You may reject this bug if it is not related to the quality of documentation.

In DG, they stated that

KeepInTouch is a desktop app for managing contacts for job-seekers. It can also help job-seekers to manage events for career purposes.

But this application doesn't show any features related to jobs. In other words, this application is very generalized because it can cater to people from all walks of life. For example, students can use this app as a contact list too, they just need to put study-relevant stuff into the notes and events. In conclusion, this application doesn't make any features specifically targeting their target users.

Team's Response

Since this is a product design issue, this is not in the scope of this PE bug-catching and should instead be given as part of the product review survey in part 3 of PE.

Even then, we feel that although our app can be useful to other users other than the one specified in the UG, our app mainly caters to jobseekers. For example, in the example the tester mentioned, students can use the app but will have no reason to (or will derive little benefit from it) since they won't have to keep track of as many contacts and would not need a lot of notes related to any given person. In short, our application provides a lot more value to jobseekers than others.
