Multiple appointments on the same date leads to confusion

Lets say i have 4 appointments scheduled on the same date, because the appointments are scheduled only by dates and not date times, I wouldn't know which client I'm supposed to meet first. And also because there is no appointment timings, I am unable to make sure that I don't have any schedule conflicts

Consider implementing with date time and add in checks to make sure that appointments do not clash with existing appointments with other clients

Appreciate the concern, however, the app is not an appointment scheduling app, rather it is a contact management app. The appointment field was added just as an additional data point that social workers can refer to for their benefit.

But we don't advertise ourselves as an app that will help you schedule appointments and deconflict them.

Given that, however, we do believe that having time there might still be useful to our app. Fixing it was found to be less important in v1.6 as this is not the main benefit of the app, that is why we classify this as not in scope.
