Thank you for your response, we totally understand your concern. We think that this is NotInScope
.
We felt that having the contacts sorted in lexicographical order is not a crucial feature, as compared to the features that we have, such as find
feature, which allows user to narrow down the number of students displayed in the list based on the parameters specified in the find
command.
To be realistic, for a small standalone application like UGTeach, it is unlikely that there will be too many contact information present in UGTeach such that user must require the contacts to be sorted in lexicographical order.
Of course, your suggestion is valuable to our team in terms of improving the user experience for UGTeach, and we will consider improving this in the future iteration, by allowing the list to be sorted in lexicographical order.

Most users will be used to an alphabetically sorted contact book.
Expected: Students are sorted by name in the contact book
Actual: Students are arranged by time added.
