Autocomplete suggests parameters that have already been entered #3183

Command to replicate: redit 1 r/3 a/asd

After entering in the address, by using tab to autosuggest the next parameter, I am still prompted with the a/ address parameter even though I have already keyed it in.

This may cause inconvenience to users who do not take note of what autosuggest is scrolling through and cost delays in data entry.

Team's Response

This is the expected behaviour of the autofill feature in the application as of v1.6. Autofill for prefixes will offer all available prefixes regardless of whether the user has entered the same prefix before or not.

In addition, view the note section under the User Guide, it states that it is only to help you get “started” with typing and that it is meant to provide simple help only, it may not be fully accurate.
