Thanks for pointing this out.

While it is true that long fields can take up a lot of space in displaying Employee cards, we feel this is necessary. In the context of displaying contact information, we think it is more important to display the full information rather than optimize for space. (For example, you wouldn't want to not be able to see someone's full last name)

Some people may also have long names, or some of our users may want to store prefixes, suffixes, honorifics, or other additions to a persons name.

Therefore, we think it is worth keeping this design feature.
