The focus for this iteration was to ensure names could be stored and processed efficiently without compromising other priority features. We believe that adding validation for the "/" was deemed to take too much effort and considered out of scope.
However, we do agree that the GUI should be more inclusive for all users. This is a change that can be considered in future iterations.

Person name does not support certain Indian name
As there is no support for '/' in person name, the app does not allow Indian name containing s/o.
