This portion of the sequence diagram could be simplified or use reference frames to make the functionality more clear.

Thank you for your feedback. Our alt and opt frames here are still pretty simple here, and I hope did not cause any confusion. We feel that if we had a complicated opt or alt frame, we would then be required to use it to help users better understand. But this portion is rather simple, and may not require a reference frame.
