Applicaiton only able to record for a maximum of one week #705

DATE is restricted to the range of Monday to Sunday which means the user can only record the diet for a maximum of one week. It might be better to allow user to record diet for a longer period of time.

This causes occasional inconvenience to some users who want to record diet for a longer period of time but they can continue to use the product.

Team's Response

This was a deliberate design choice as well, as we wanted to restrict meal planning and recording on a weekly basis.

The idea was to plan and curate a detailed list for a week, where users can specifically track their weekly diet, save the specific data file for future reference, clear the data and retrack their food intake for another week, possibly using the recipe feature to plan the subsequent week of food intake.

The application can easily be extended to support a recording data for a larger period of time, during future implementations.
