Team's Response

Every Singapore citizen, Permanent Resident and foreigners holding long-term passes are given a NRIC/FIN number, hence it is reasonable to omit the explanation for the structure of an NRIC number in a Singapore context. In addition, one other way to get a valid NRIC number would be to use your own, as we cannot provide any more valid NRIC numbers due to privacy concerns.
