Data file is empty, but shows up as corrupted when loading finux #1360

After adding the very large amounts for expenses, I cleared the data file to be able to continue testing. However, I am unable to load finux, even though the data file is cleared.

The only fix is to delete the file and restart

Team has tried to reproduce, but to no avail.

Insufficient information in screenshot, team has attempted multiple times and the app still launches.
