If the UG warns users not to edit the save file due to possible data corruption by the user, is that considered a documentation bug given that the tp requirements have the constraint of a human editable text file? Despite the warning, the user is still able to edit the save file (e.g. the save file is not set to read-only, etc.).

The user can edit the file (that is why it is human-editable); not sure I understand your question, can you please clarify? Are you asking if the user can edit? Are you asking if the document says can't edit means user not-supposed to edit? Are you asking if can edit should be in the document?

Ah apologies for the confusion. I am asking if it is a documentation bug for the UG to warn users against editing the save file.

ah.. i guess it is OK to not mark it as a bug. we will just not honor the warning 😄
