list command behaving unexpectedly when i put any random string after "list" #2971

Even if I type 'random' after 'list' the list is displayed.

It is clearly written that extraneous parameters are ignored. The feature behaves as expected

Duplicate of #2907 as the problem lies in not following UG instructions which explains how extraneous parameters are handled.
