Adding a newline at the end of data.txt causes application to crash #988

I accidentally added a newline to the end of data.txt while entering module information and it caused the program to crash.

Since the specifications dictate that users should be able to edit data.txt, it may be difficult for users to troubleshoot the issue if they fail to realize that they have added a newline to the end of data.txt.

The data file should not be edited by the user. The data file can only be transferred: In the beginning before using the application, the "data.txt" file is not present. Only the jar file is present. Our application never had a feature to read file information from before and we have never specified such a feature in the DG or UG. The only possible actions that can be carried out on the "data.txt" file are mentioned in the FAQ section of the UG.
