Date of expiration cannot be today #1334

image.png The medicine that expires today is considered as expired already. However, there may be certain medicine that is only valid for one day. Moreover, this limit of expiration date is not specified in UG.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for pointing out your concern and we have classified this as not in scope as there is a safety issue when we allow the user to enter expired medications.

If that medication is expiring in one day(e.g. 24 hours), perhaps it is better to enter the next day, 2024-04-20.

However, our application caters for users on long term medications and I would advise you to immediately seek your doctor or pharmacist who ordered for you medications expiring in a day.
