The top-level number (e.g., "1") indicates a major step or interaction in the sequence. Subsequent levels (e.g., "1.1", "1.2") indicate sub-steps or interactions that occur within the scope of the major step. These can further drill down into more detailed interactions (e.g., "1.1.1", "1.1.2") to represent even finer-grained steps within a sub-step. i accept the first but maybe not the second one.
