Hi there, thank you for the bug report!

The reason why we set it as YYYY-MM-DD format is because we did not want to leave any ambiguity when the user types in inputs.

For example lets consider this case if there is no standard format, 2024-12-11 , in this case is it 11 december, or is it 12 november. Hence there is a need for a standard format to reduce ambiguity
