From my current understanding, commands that have an {INDEX} parameter (eg. save, source, url, headlines, extract, get) all operate on a "filtered" list.
While this feature is much appreciated, when I return back to main, I am still able to apply these commands, but on the main list.
I may be wrong, but I don't think there is a way to view the main list, thus, it would not make much sense for these commands to work, since users do not know the index of an article in the main list.
