We are unsure what the tester was expecting for an "success message".

In this case, what was meant by the expected output is as follows:

• The email for Jonathan is changed to jona@gmail.com: When the participant list is viewed again, the email for the Participant with name Jonathan will be jona@gmail.com, rather than than@gmail.com.

• A success message is shown: The program will show to the user that the event has been updated, with the updated details, as shown in the screenshot of the report above:
