Updates to the tutorial section of Week 3

• The tutorial section of Week 3 has been updated to include some suggested tutorial activities.
• Please prepare for the tutorial activities accordingly.

repl.it classroom updated

• The repl.it classroom has been updated to include some more exercises for basic OOP.
• Please feel free to try those exercies; you may ask your tutors to clarify the doubts, if any.

Graded task for this week

• The project preparation task is graded and worth 2 participation points.

Deadlines for weekly learning outcomes (LO)

• Please note that the deadline to achieve weekly LOs is the midnight before your tutorial. We use scripts to detect your work; these scripts run at midnight and only the work that is done by midnight is eligible for marks (for the LOs that are graded).

Project inception

• We understand that your teams will be formed only towards the end of the tutorial. However, that should not prevent you from developing some project ideas individually.
• Once the team is formed, you can share your ideas with your team members and can kick-off the project discussions.

Communication matters

• You are encouraged to use this issue tracker to ask module related questions and doubts instead of directly shooting an email to your tutor.
• Reasons:
  • The discussions can benefit the whole class.
  • Additionally, it allows you to:
    1. post responses to announcements,
    2. communicate with the original poster for doubt clarification.
