I am able to add event even the start and end date is the same. #1603

Obviously, you should be able to add an event that spans in the same day.

As for why the time field is within the same hour and minutes, it's because the user failed to specify the time, and the application automatically pads the time for the user.

E.g. I visit the zoo today. Why would someone stay overnight in the zoo?
