Can't insert emoji into Nushell + Windows Terminal

Describe the bug

It's not possible to insert any emojis into Nushell when using Windows Terminal on Windows 11.

How to reproduce

1. Open nushell in Windows Terminal
2. Press the Windows key and the period button to open the emoji keyboard shortcut
3. Try to insert any emoji

Expected behavior

I expected nu to insert the emoji and display it.
