add a link from the description of the module workload breakdown to http://www.nus.edu.sg/registrar/edu/modular.html

Ok I actually intend to state the breakdown clearly when we revamp the module finder. It will be as clear as the sidebar of http://nusmods.com/modules/ACC1002

more generally, we should try to avoid situations where information "magically appears" on NUSMods, without an appropriate NUS website to direct the audience to. Benefits:

allows them to verify the information,
inform us if it's different/wrong, and
avoid "are you sure this is official...?" support chat questions

Would people bother about the ugly and hard-to-read official links if the information they need is conveniently in front of them? >_<

I forgot that page existed, but the remarks under the workload table might be worth it to present as a tooltip over the relevant component, e.g. to know the exact definition of "Project".
