Discovered that there are a large number of site_lifespan repeats. Most of these are redundant (i.e. same lifespan_id) but there are a large number of species with different lifespans for the same site.
I'm going to try to:
1) remove redundant rows (i.e. same lifespan_ids)
2) remove 'indeterminate' repeats (e.g. if species has annual and indeterminate, only keep annual)
3) manually resolve remaining issues
4) create new index restricting repeated site_id-taxon_id entries
