Hebrew Daily Dozen App Translation - Hebrew_he.tsv.zip

This is the latest translated version. It's saying it doesn't support .tsv file types for upload, so I'm uploading as a .zip. Let me know if there's anything else I can do. Thank you.

salitrov commented 3 years ago

Made some slight edits. This is now the latest one

Sorry, last update on this. There was a miscommunication here.

Hebrew Daily Dozen App Translation - Hebrew_he.tsv.zip

marc-medley commented 2 years ago

@salitrov It's not surprising to have more than one update. Each review likely catches a detail missed before. Some interations are expected.

The .zip format is OK. A .txt format is also an option as noted in the QuickStart Guide: "Step 3. Submit TSV File"

Also, Hebrew_he.additions.tsv needs to be completed to have a first pass for the applications.

marc-medley commented 2 years ago

@salitrov The tsv files for the Hebrew translation are:

Parts A and B for the mobile applications will be process together once both parts are uploaded here.

Hebrew Appstore Sheet - Sheet1.txt

marc-medley commented 2 years ago

@salitrov Thanks for the Appstore sheet. Note that Hebrew_he.additions.tsv also needs to be completed to have a first pass for use the application source code.

salitrov commented 2 years ago

Sorry, I thought I shared that with you previously. Uploading here.

@salitrov Processing and source level checks have been completed for Hebrew.

The current, updated TSV files to use for any Hebrew translation updates are:

Separately, I've sent an email with some information regarding pre-release software distribution for translation review & test.

marc-medley commented 2 years ago

@salitrov I noticed that the application "Daily Dozen" name has (or has had) two different Hebrew translations:

  1. השניים עשר היומי
  2. התריסר היומי Google translation shows one as the "The Dozen Daily" and the other as "The Twelve Daily". From a software view point, the shorter one is more space efficient. From a translator/user viewpoint which one is preferred?
marc-medley commented 2 years ago

Hebrew appears to have the literial translation for [place translated language name here] instead of substituting the language name itself. So, this line will need to be updated.

salitrov commented 2 years ago

Thanks for checking this. It's been fixed. I suppose I'll resubmit after the review. Also, I was told that this is the better Hebrew translation: התריסר היומי

marc-medley commented 2 years ago

Please have the translator double check the TSV that is currently being used for the applications:

These items need to be reviewed:

Thanks.

salitrov commented 2 years ago

Thank you, will do and will let you know.

There is clipping on the small iPhone screen on the Preferences screen.

I'm looking at adjusting the layout on the software side since this is an issue with several of the non-English languages.

@salitrov The translators can now review the live App Store page for iOS Daily Dozen with Hebrew:

iPhone screenshots are attached below in a zip file. The iPhone screenshots can be replaced with marketing images when available. Image specification for the two sets: 1242 x 2688 pixels (portrait) and 1242 x 2208 pixels (portrait).

@salitrov The changeset01 tsv files contain some addition lines which need translation to support the addition of Google Firebase Analytics to the application, translator recognition, and the cruciferous servings update.

salitrov commented 2 years ago

Updates have been made to the app store translation, attached here. App translation changes likely on the way too. Thank you.
