setting column widths with p{} in longtable? #89

Is there a way to set the column type to a p{width} (instead of the l and r alignments) to better control the width for an entire column? The \parbox for each cell is giving me issues with the row height and the text overlaps for rows where the text is wrapped into multiple lines.

Unfortunately, I don't think I have any good solutions for you right now, aside for printing out the LaTeX code and making adjustments manually (which isn't actually a "good" solution).

would you be able to share an example of how this is failing you so that I can spend some time working on it. There are parts of the LaTeX tables I'm also not happy with and would appreciate some focused direction on where to make some efforts for improvement.

Yeah, I wanted to avoid that... Sure, I'll work on a small example to share. I'll get back to you.
