Need ideas for ways we can make into a script for our ownCloud hosted version:

Such things as:

Minimalist Install VoIP ATA Router

You get the idea. Since FrancYesco's input for the install.sh, it makes sense to have a development branch & a stable one

0jay commented 5 years ago

I think it makes sense to strip out anything inessential, provided there are stable packages available to build back to spec.

If available replacement packages are unstable or unknown then that function should be left as is when running an install.

why use ownCloud while we have github?

just create a dev/minimalist/ata/whatever branch here on gh and for the dev install replace the link in the script (or if you want just put an arg[1] to the main script without duplicating the script for just a string..) https://github.com/nutterpc/tg-luci/tarball/master with something like https://github.com/nutterpc/tg-luci/tarball/dev

Also the install instructions can really be stripped out to something like:

curl -k https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nutterpc/tg-luci/master/install.sh --output /tmp/install.sh
chmod +x /tmp/install.sh
/tmp/install.sh

and just replace /master/ with /dev/ if you want to install a different branch

nutterpc commented 5 years ago

Yeah I might look at that, the /dev branch idea

Might take me a few days to implement it. I've got some IRL stuff thats taking priority atm

kevdagoat commented 5 years ago

This is a great idea.

kevdagoat commented 5 years ago

Don't mind managing it for you.

nutterpc commented 5 years ago

Oh the dev branch is going to be a thing I want to have kind of like a "group concensus" on. Not one person can say that this is what we doing, we all put our ideas forward to it

kevdagoat commented 5 years ago

Ok. That is definitely a good point.

Any progress?

nutterpc commented 5 years ago

Atm no, I've been trying to think of some ideas for it lately though. Main point of concern was getting the co-existence issue with Ansuel & your GUI sorted

nutterthanos commented 5 years ago

It been a while and nothing has happened to this.

His main pc blew up

But how and why? And does he have another computer/mobile to come back?

nutterpc commented 5 years ago

I'm working on it. Hopefully another week or so

Woah your back on Github since like February.

nutterthanos commented 5 years ago

Ok will see what happens then. Edit: Also the packages look like they are for mips processors not arm processors so will need to compile for the brcm63138 plus the packages that come from the openwrt repo for brcm63xx are also all mips ones so that will need compiling for bcrm63xx too.

Ok it’s now been 3 weeks

nutterpc commented 5 years ago

I know that. No need to keep reminding me

Sorry I still need to learn a bit about patience.

nutterthanos commented 3 years ago

Wow been another year already without anything is this project abandoned? @nutterpc

nutterthanos commented 3 years ago

ya dead? @nutterpc

FrancYescO commented 3 years ago

sincerely i don't think there is much to do here, but a good thing to have is the source/patchfile for all the edits made to have the package built

nutterpc commented 3 years ago

Not dead, just been very busy IRL. Plus wanted some time away from all the router dev stuff, I’ve got a TG Router beside me on my desk which I’ll be using for the VoIP Project (Spoken to Kevdagoat a week or so ago about it on Discord). Just need to get a few good hours to be able to spend doing it
