Building off of joost's PR this one fixes tests #151

hmm. these tests are all passing on my computer. Anyone have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot?

^ windows test haven't been passing, never got around to getting them to pass fully But we do need mac/linux tests to pass, I'll pull this PR locally and make sure it works before merging !
