Layout bug in "Example search" #14

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

Version 1.1

When in portrait mode, the "exact match" text in the "Example search" tab its
unreadable. It gets wrapped so often that one line only has 2 characters at
max. To fix this, the "Max number of examples" text should be wrapped as well,
or move the checkbox into the next line.

Tested on a HTC Desire, technically equivalent to the Nexus One.

Interesting, looks fine on my Nexus One. I guess I'll wrap the 'max number of
examples' label. Could you provide a screenshot?

Sure, this is what it looks like for me.

Thanks. Strange though, it should only break at spaces. Seems like a bug in
Sense UI to me. I'll upload a test version so you can check how it looks.

I uploaded a version with hard line breaks. Could you please check how it looks
when you set your language to Japanese as well?

Sorry, I can't change the language to Japanese on my phone. It's locked to a
small subset of european languages (around Germany). But I have tested english
now, and it looks the same there.

With the new version it looks fine on my device (see screenshot).

OK, thanks. Does it look OK in landscape mode too?

Yes, in landscape it looks as fine as the settings in the Dictionary tab.

Thanks for the quick fix :)
