Hello, NVDA already offers options for ignoring changes to the text of items such as terminals and panes.
I would like to request that users also be given the option for NVDA to ignore titlebar text changes.
To explain my reasoning. Many apps will place the current file path in the titlebar. I have been finding it quite irritating, for example, when quickly browsing through some images in my image viewer app, I am hearing the start of each file's path getting read out as I skip through.
Also if listening to MP3s in a music player app say, I wouldn't want to hear NVDA talk over the beginning of each song as the titlebar changes.
So, if NVDA could have the possibility of treating titlebars like terminal text, that would be fantastic.
Sorry for the negative, I do love NVDA overall! And I know that on paper this may sound like a bit of a trivial complaint. But for me not being able to control the automatic reading of titlebar updates is as irritating as not being able to prevent the automatic reading of updates of panes and terminals would be. Thanks for reading.
