salesforce problem with NVDA #17307

Steps to reproduce:

  1. go to account in salesforce, make sure that NVDA is running
  2. create a case, from the account or an asset.
  3. in the "new case" under category or sub category combo boxes, select something.
  4. you'll see, that NVDA isn't reading what has been selected in the combo boxes.

Actual behavior: NVDA does not read the selected option in the combo boxes

Expected behavior: reading the selected options in the combo boxes

NVDA logs, crash dumps and other attachments:

System configuration

NVDA installed/portable/running from source: installed

NVDA version: 2024.4 beta 4

Windows version: N/a

Name and version of other software in use when reproducing the issue: Narator, JAWS 2024
