improvement in 1.2. Internationalization documentation #4542

Internationalization section of the User Guide 1 'into 45 languages including: Afrikaans, Albanian, Amharic, Arabic, Aragonese, Brazilian Portuguese, ...' In the User Guide, it is displayed as including: {on a new line} Afharic, other languages... I feel the colon isn't really required, and the list of languages can begin immediately after 'including' 2 You may want to give a sentence there which contains a link that takes the user to the language switching option documentation. 3 It could be mentioned that the localizations are maintained by the community volunteers, and that the reader may help maintain a new language or help in an existing one, with a link to the NVDA Translation page. Hope I was comprehensible enough

It isn't, but it's easier to read when you have a massive list like this.

and the list of languages can begin immediately after 'including'

It's intentionally split onto a new line so the main part of the sentence is separate from the list, as the main part won't change very often, whereas the list will. This makes life easier for translators among other things. Aside from this, asking for this change is below even trivial, especially since that new line isn't even included in the HTML output.

2 You may want to give a sentence there which contains a link that takes the user to the language switching option documentation.

This is the NVDA user interface language, not the speech language. The language switching options relate to speech.

The User Guide is not the place for this. We don't mention that you can contribute code, testing or whatever else, nor would this be appropriate. Changes: Added labels: wontfix State: closed

Sorry for not being completely clear. I mean the option found in the General Settings to choose the NVDA interface languagee. A link to that option's documentation could be given.
