You can actually get the formating of the text with nvda+f in MS Powerpoint. But yes, I agree the behavior should be consistent in Word, Excel and powerpoint. That is, if I enable text form, size, style etc in NVDA's document formating settings, we should get those properties reported when navigating through the text with arrow keys.

Could this be extended to the rest of the Microsoft Office suite as well eventually, particularly the more widely used presentation related programs, like Microsoft Office Powerpoint?
