Microsoft Office Powerpoint: provide speech and Braille feedback for common actions (like Microsoft Office Word) #5362

Reported by bhavyashah on 2015-09-14 11:36 One of the features in Microsoft Office support I have optimally utilized and greatly appreciated is the speech feedback given for most common actions in Microsoft Office Word, such as bold, italic and underline on/off, for instance. Could this be extended to the rest of the Microsoft Office suite as well eventually, particularly the more widely used presentation related programs, like Microsoft Office Powerpoint?

You can actually get the formating of the text with nvda+f in MS Powerpoint. But yes, I agree the behavior should be consistent in Word, Excel and powerpoint. That is, if I enable text form, size, style etc in NVDA's document formating settings, we should get those properties reported when navigating through the text with arrow keys.
