Symbols entered with hotkeys (control+alt+c for copyright etc) not read correctly in Word (2016) #6146

Word has shortcut keys for a number of symbols:

control+alt+c for copyright symbol control+alt+r for registered trademark control+alt+t for trademark symbol control+alt+e for Euro symbol

While the Euro symbol entered this way reads correctly, the others all read as "1"

These particular symbols all read now (not sure if that was deliberate or a side-effect of other work). There are still issues with symbols, but there are other issues for those:

Reading the symbol dialog itself, as per #6145. Reading other symbols, such as musical notes, as perf #9158.

I will close this particular issue now though.
