MS Edge: NVDA is very sluggish after pressing "reply" on google groups #8304

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open this website https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/braillists
  2. Choose a topic and press "reply"

Expected behavior:

NVDA should react properly.

Actual behavior:

NVDA becomes silent and navigation is impossible until changing the window and switching back to MS Edge.

System configuration:

NVDA version: 2018.1.1

NVDA Installed or portable: Installed

Windows version: Windows 10.0.17134

Name and version of other software in use when reproducing the issue: MS Edge

Other questions:

Does the issue still occur after restarting your PC? Yes

Have you tried any other versions of NVDA? No

Working fine in Edge Chromium 81 with NVDA Version: alpha-20026,16ec967e. Really fast. Closing as works for me.

Adding appropriate label since this is probably still reproducible in Edge Spartan and UIA related environments.
