aria-live announcing twice in Chrome 74 depending on parent element (various other differences) #9555

Chrome causing NVDA to announce aria-live 2x.

Steps to reproduce:

Actual behavior:

Elements with aria-live are announced 2x when using Chrome if they are heading elements or the target element of aria-labelledby or aria-describedby

Expected behavior:

Announce 1x.

Installed

2019.1.1

Windows version:

Win 7

Hi Team, is there any update on this bug?

This is still reproducible with NVDA 2024.2. There are still inconsistencies between browsers here.
