Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

No, it is not a problem, but is a small suggestion.

Describe the solution you'd like

Allow setting the dot firmness for all esys displays, as it is supported by the hardware itself. Checked in the latest jaws versions. I don't know, which braille displays support this, but it is a small thing.

Describe alternatives you've considered

cc: @leonardder is this not already implemented? There was a PR related to this recently.

zstanecic commented 5 years ago

It is implemented, but it is not implemented for the esys displays.

AAClause commented 5 years ago

it is supported by the hardware itself.

Are you sure? I have an Esys for 7 years and I have never seen that.

Checked in the latest jaws versions.

It seems to me that proves nothing, JAWS shows this option for all braille displays.

zstanecic commented 5 years ago

Well,

I have seen in jfw, that it works for esys, and it has an effect on the quality of braille dots.

So it changes it on the hardware. I saw this on another computer
