Make 'prognosis' about the future #72

Barry Smith suggests changing the definition of prognosis from:

A hypothesis about the course of a disease.

to

A hypothesis about the future course of a disease.

This would account for the fact that 'course' may refer to a completed process,
whereas 'prognosis' is future pointing.

I agree it is better.

A couple quick questions:

Should the definite 'the' be used?

What is "course of a disease"? If that refers to 'disease course', why not make
it explicit? A disease course is a "totality" of processes which realize a
given disease. I assume this means disease courses have parts, so this leads me
to think something like this might be clearer:

A hypothesis about some future part of a disease course.

Good point Mark. I think future part of a disease course is more accurate.

The change has been made in the development version and will appear in the next
release.

You might use prediction (http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/OBI_0302910) - add an
axiom that says it is the specified output of a prediction. (the definition
could use some improvement).
