Proxy error? #348

I am using this behind an http proxy on Ubuntu 12.04.2. The proxy is set systemwide. Firefox and other internet connecting programs work. When I try to start everpad, I get the following error in the terminal (last line)-

httplib2.socks.GeneralProxyError: (5, 'bad input')

What am I doing wrong?
