Strange authorization #443

Linux Mint 17 (=ubuntu trusty), everpad 2.15.8. On one machine all works fine, on second - does not authorize. If I select "Settings and management/authorize", then enter login/password, all seems to be OK - I get page "authotized". But no synchronization happens. If I select "settings.." again, I see button "authorize" again, as I just didn't autorization.

Deleting .config/everpan did not help.

same problem, i have tried to delete all of following ~/.everpad ~/.config/everpad /tmp/everpad* the login window will not auto disappear, the [Close] button can close it, with no login state kept.

i am using ubuntu 12.04 Everpad version: 2.5, API version: 6,Schema version: 5

if you are behind firewall (aka GFW), you have to export environment http_proxy and https_proxy for both everpad & everpad-provider

And you can observe synchronization log in ~/.everpad/logs/everpad , if you are using the "develop" branch of everpad. Sometimes I encounter sync exception with specified notes. I found no logging in done version2.5.

i have tried your advise, exported proxy settings doesn't help. i have used settings for wget and other tool, it is correct. it even can not open the login page. without proxy it can be opened and logged in successfully.

the window looks like following, not disappear, no other operation, only one [Close] once you close it, then click the [Authorize] in settings everything start over.
