I have 44MB for Lens and 35MB for Indicator with roughly 300 notes. I don't use many attachments...and I just rebooted. How many notes do you have? How many with attachments? and how long has your machine been up? What version of Ubuntu are you using? What version of Everpad?
Hello!!
Thanks for your quick response!! Well, let me see...
I have more than 700 notes, most of them webclips taken from the firefox Evernote addon, some photos and some text notes. When I've taken this screenshoot my laptop has been running about two hours and half. I'm using Ubuntu 12.04.1 with very fresh install (just yesterday) and Everpad is updated to last version. But before the last installation, I was using Ubuntu 12.04.1 also and the "trouble" was there already.
Thanks for your help!!
PD: Two things, first of all apologize for my poor inital message, I should remembered to give you more details.
The other, I've noticed that the RAM usage goes up immediatly when I use the dash to see my notes, it doesn't matter the time the laptop has been running. So, perhaps the Lense or the provider service have something to do.
Everpad has memory leaks and i work on it.
Ok!!
No problem if you know already the issue and are working on it, I'll continue using Everpad.
Thank you very much for your efforts to give us a good Evernote client!!
Best regards!!
Hello!! I've taken this screenshoot from Everpad running in a VirtualBox VM and Xubuntu 12.04+Xfce 4.10

A total of 150Mb used here - roughly 50Mb each for Everpad, Everpad-Provider and Everpad-Lens. I have around 550 notes, mostly text, but some heavily screenshotted notes too. Image capture here : http://i.imgur.com/qBZkX.jpg
Hi, I have the same issue. Here's a screenshot, showing the huge memory use of everpad-provider, and also everpad-lens.
I have quite some notes (3400), many with files or pictures in it notes. Please note that everpad was NOT running at this moment as you can see from the status bar on the top. I'm using ubuntu 12.10. I don't know which version of everpad. How can I check that?
Any news on this issue? I' afraid I have to uninstall everpad because it uses more than 1 GB ram, and then there is also the everpad lens taking another 200 MB: my laptop can't handle that.
Is it normal this RAM consume?
