Ahh, maybe because it tells it to exit as soon as it starts bash?
> thefuck --alias --enable-experimental-instant-mode
export THEFUCK_INSTANT_MODE=True;
export THEFUCK_OUTPUT_LOG=/tmp/thefuck-script-log-76b04c5277514fdaa3e3820439d112fa;
thefuck --shell-logger /tmp/thefuck-script-log-76b04c5277514fdaa3e3820439d112fa;
rm /tmp/thefuck-script-log-76b04c5277514fdaa3e3820439d112fa;
exit
The output of
thefuck --version
(something likeThe Fuck 3.1 using Python 3.5.0 and Bash 4.4.12(1)-release
):The Fuck 3.32 using Python 3.11.4 and Bash 5.2.15(1)-release
Your system (Debian 7, ArchLinux, Windows, etc.):
OpenSUSE Tumbleweed KDE
How to reproduce the bug:
Use instant mode by placing the following in your .bashrc: eval $(thefuck --alias --enable-experimental-instant-mode) or is it "eval $(thefuck --alias --enable-experimental-instant-mode)"? see https://github.com/nvbn/thefuck/issues/1400
The output of The Fuck with
THEFUCK_DEBUG=true
exported (typically executeexport THEFUCK_DEBUG=true
in your shell before The Fuck):If the bug only appears with a specific application, the output of that application and its version:
There is no output. The system is setup to automatically log in the user, it logs in and immediately returns to SDDM (the display manager). if
--enable-experimental-instant-mode
is removed from the bashrc entry, it boots and logs in as expected.
